Project Description
The water quality and quantity studies for the Beetaloo Sub-basin SREBA assessed groundwater chemistry and levels, and better characterised aquifer parameters, intra- and inter-aquifer connectivity, recharge and discharge processes for regional aquifers overlying the Beetaloo Sub-basin. This study was led by the Northern Territory Government Department of Environment, Parks and Water Security, Water Resources Division.

Abstract
This report provides detail on the groundwater monitoring program that was conducted as part of the SREBA Water Studies but is complemented by the extensive and detailed data and information produced by other recent NT and Commonwealth Government research programs that have been undertaken since the completion of the Pepper Inquiry. These programs include the Geological and Bioregional Assessment (GBA) program and the Gas Industry Social and Environmental Research Alliance (GISERA) program which together form the most complete understanding of the water resources overlying the Beetaloo Sub-basin.
